SPB Exchange to launch trade in 500 Hong Kong securities in 2022

MOSCOW, Jan 16 (PRIME) -- Russia’s SPB Exchange plans to launch trading in no less than 500 Hong Kong securities and 25 exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the Hong Kong dollars and Chinese yuan listed in Hong Kong in 2023, the bourse said in a statement on Monday.

In the monetary terms, trading in Hong Kong securities amounted to 3.78 billion Hong Kong dollars, or U.S. $484.1 million, in June–December 2022. The top three Hong Kong securities on SPB Exchange by trade turnover in the period were Alibaba, JD.com, and Xiaomi, the bourse said.
